Former member of the agency's São Paulo office, where he has been working since 2015, Gianesi takes the helm of one of the world's most awarded creative agencies 

In just over a decade in business, DAVID Miami has become one of the most awarded creative agencies globally, recognized for famed work for the biggest brands in the world, including Burger King, Coca-Cola, and Google (Android). The agency announces its new creative leader, Edgard Gianesi, ushering in the next wave of creative excellence as he takes the helm as Chief Creative Officer. 

Affectionately known as Ed, he has a long history with DAVID, having worked for the agency since 2015. Most recently, Ed served as the Executive Creative Director of DAVID’s São Paulo office, where led his team to winning over 25 Cannes Lions, among other prestigious honors from The One Show, D&AD, and Clio, for brands like Coca-Cola, Burger King, and Faber-Castell. Ed takes over from Rafa Donato, who held the position of CCO at DAVID Miami for the past three years and was recently named Chief Creative Officer of Ogilvy Brazil.

Ed, a professional with a copywriting background, has built his career working for various global brands. Before joining DAVID, Ed served five years as Global Creative Director at Lowe UK for Unilever (Knorr, Persil, Becel, Signal), Cadillac, and many other brands.
