Previously rare in South Korea, drug use among young people has risen dramatically, along with the victims of “spiked” drinks. So the “Drug Test Poster” by Cheil Worldwide and the Joongang Tongyang Broadcasting Company has a double mission. While it marks the launch of the series Strong Girl Nam-Soon – about a young woman with superhuman strength who takes on a drugs cartel – it also features 27 detachable drug-testing kits, allowing the detection of drugs in drinks, for example. The posters were conveniently placed in the Gangnam and university areas of Seoul, where drug-related crimes are increasing and where young people could easily find them.
