Title | Team Pride |
Brief | PFLAG provides peer support, education and advocacy for those of all sexualities and gender expressions. In response to the NHL ban, PFLAG created the ‘Team Pride’ jersey in the colours of the Progress Flag. Stitched from uniforms across the league, it serves as a symbol of inclusivity and allyship. To spearhead the campaign, the “Team Pride” jersey was displayed at the entrance of the world’s most visited sports venue of its kind – the Hockey Hall of Fame. This campaign also earned media support from Sportsnet, one of Canada’s largest sports networks, who rallied behind our initiative on their popular hockey podcast “Going Deep”. |
